Thinking about straightening your teeth but worried about metal braces and how long you will have to wear them?
Embarrassed about your smile but worried if braces fit in your lifestyle?

Thankfully, there are clear aligner systems that can help straighten your teeth and help you smile confidently.
Invisalign is an orthodontic treatment that uses a progression of clear, removable aligners that fit snugly on teeth and help in their movement .

The process:

The Invisalign process starts with

1.A complimentary 15 min consultation with Dr.Shah to determine that you are good candidate for Invisalign treatment.

2. Records appointment: At this appointment a series of intra oral pictures, extra oral pictures, X-rays are taken along with scans of the alignment of your upper and lower teeth are taken.
This is then sent to Align technology to get a three dimensional simulation of the completed treatment.
This will help you visualize the alignment of your teeth once Invisalign treatment is completed.

3. Reviewing the simulated outcome of the Invisalign treatment:
At this appointment Dr. Shah will review the three dimensional simulation of the teeth movement and the final outcome of the treatment. If there any questions or concerns about the length of the treatment, difficult tooth movements; should be addressed at this appointment.
The aligners are approved for fabrication once you approve of the simulation.

5. At the next appointment:
Tooth color attachments that help move teeth are placed on your teeth, a set of three aligners is given to you. The first aligner is tried and the fit is checked.
Each set of aligners must be worn for 22 hours a day for 2 weeks.

6. Every six weeks three new sets of aligners is given out. The fit of the most current aligner and the next aligner is checked. This continues until the treatment is completed.

7. Retention: After Invisalign treatment is completed, retainers must be worn to prevent re-lapse of treatment.

The cost of Invisalign depends on the number of aligners, and difficulty of the case.
Average treatment times is about 9 months, with the cost varying from $1500- $5000.

In house payment plans at no interest can be set up depending on credit history or financing through Care credit is available.
